Same Day Dispatch

Where all products in your order are “in stock at our Auckland warehouse” and your order is placed before 2PM, we will process your order the same day for overnight delivery. Often we can extend this cutoff time to 4PM, however we can’t guarantee it. Same day dispatch applies to orders placed Monday to Friday.

Our goal is to get your order to you as soon as possible. The table below should be used as a rough guide to delivery times, however no guarantees can be made because we are at the mercy of courier schedules.

For Auckland deliveries, you’ll usually receive your order the next business day.  For orders to the rest of the North Island you should also receive them the next business day, however there is a small chance of a delay due to courier network problems such as road or airport closures. Orders to the South Island have a good chance of getting to you the next business day, however plan on 2-3 business days if it is critical.

Target delivery times are based on orders paid in full via credit card and for in stock items. Orders paid for by bank deposit will be processed and dispatched upon receipt of payment.

Saturday Delivery

Non-rural orders over $100+, paid for by credit card and placed before 2PM on a Friday can be upgraded to Saturday delivery for free providing all products are marked as “in stock, ready for delivery”. You must select the Saturday delivery option in the cart/checkout before you complete your order.

Non-rural orders under $100+, paid for by credit card and placed before 2PM on a Friday can be upgraded to Saturday delivery for a fee of $8 providing all products are marked as “in stock, ready for delivery”. You must select the Saturday delivery option in the cart/checkout before you complete your order.

Saturday delivery is not available to rural addresses, sorry.

A small number of products are not eligible for Saturday delivery. If one of these ineligible products is in your cart, the Saturday delivery option will be unavailable.

Signature Required Upgrade

Our free overnight delivery method does not require a signature by the receiver. If you need your parcel to be signed for, you can upgrade to Signature Required Courier Delivery for $2.95 when you checkout.

Order Processing Time

When you place and pay for your order, all “in stock, ready for delivery” products will be packed up and made ready for courier pick up as quickly as possible. Usually this happens within 2-3 hours, however on very busy days this can take a little longer. Orders are processed Monday – Friday. Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will be processed the following Monday.

International orders may take an extra 24 hours to process during busy periods.

Product Availability

Thousands of products are available for purchase from The Beauty Lounge and we keep the majority of these products in stock at our warehouse. We source some products from nearby suppliers and some harder to get products from international suppliers. Here’s what our availability messages mean:

In stock, ready for delivery
This product is in stock with The Beauty Lounge at our Auckland fulfilment centre and will be dispatched the same day for orders placed before 2pm Monday to Friday where all products are “in stock, ready for delivery”.

In stock with supplier, dispatched in X days
This product is in stock with a local supplier. We will order it in to our warehouse which takes X days (usually 2-3 days or 5-7 days depending on the product) and then put it on an overnight courier to you as soon as we receive it.

International Supplier
A few products that are impossible to source via New Zealand distributors can be sourced from international suppliers. These products can take 2-3 weeks to arrive. Once they do, we will put them on the courier to you.

Mixed Stock Statuses within an order
If your order contains a mix of products which are in stock and need to be ordered in, your whole order will ship once all products are available for shipping. Separate shipping can be arrange for a fee. Please contact us and reference your order number if you would like to split your order into multiple shipments.

Delivery Company

We use a combination of CourierPost and New Zealand Post for sending orders.  They’re the most reliable and fastest courier company’s in the country which means your order will arrive quickly and safely 99.9% of the time.

Notifications

After you’ve placed your order, you will receive an email confirming the details. When we’ve processed your order you will receive another email with the tracking number and courier information.

Track Your Order

You’ll get a tracking number for every order which you can use to track your order every step of the way until it arrives on your doorstep!

Australia Delivery Costs & Times

We can deliver most of our products to Australia using a 2-6 day express international courier service with New Zealand Post:

Please note The Beauty Lounge is not responsible for any import duties applied to your order when it arrives into Australia or the UK. Any import duties are the responsibility of the customer.
