Much more powerful dryer than anything that can be bought from Briscoes or Farmers. It's very light so no carpal tunnel from using this thing every morning. Initially I wasn't used to how hard it blows and it knotted my hair up. Impressive! It costs megabucks but I view it as an investment. I love that it has a true cool setting which makes setting styles so much faster.

OMG, I've died and gone to hair dryer heaven! The parlux 385 powerlight is the bee's knees! My hairdresser uses a parlux hair dryer and said it was the best product on the market. I was a little hesitant to spend so much on a hair dryer but this is sooooo worth the extra dollars. It dries my huge mop of hair in minutes, produces salon-like results and will apparently last for years. This hair dryer is fantastic! I have fine hair and I colour it, so fly-aways and frizz were a constant battle. With my Parlux 385 my hair is dry so much faster and it's so smooth- I often don't use my straightener anymore, which I never would have done previously!
